Lucosky Brookman LLP Serves as Counsel to Titan Partners in $400 Million Private Placement for NANO Nuclear Energy Inc.
NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: NNE), a leading advanced nuclear energy and technology company, announced the closing of its previously announced private placement of 8,490,767 shares of common stock, raising approximately $400 million in gross proceeds.
Primary participation in the offering included initial investments from preeminent asset managers, alongside new and existing institutional investors. The financing provides NANO Nuclear with significant financial flexibility, with cash on hand of approximately $600 million, supporting multiple years of operating runway under the company’s current plans and reinforcing its position as a leader in developing advanced nuclear microreactor technology in the U.S.
The company intends to use the proceeds to advance development, construction, and regulatory licensing for its KRONOS MMR™ Energy System, continue development of other microreactor projects and nuclear energy supply chain initiatives, pursue potential strategic acquisitions, and fund general corporate purposes. The company also plans to begin geotechnical investigations at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus, a first step toward constructing its patented KRONOS MMR™ advanced micro modular reactor.
