Lahdan S. Rahmati is an Associate at Lucosky Brookman LLP and Member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Lahdan is an entrepreneurial business attorney with a broad range of legal experience including working at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance, Office of Telecommunications in Washington, DC, and at a boutique corporate and securities law firm in Washington DC, where she also co-authored a Whitepaper on Security Token Offerings, helped launch the firm’s cryptocurrency practice, and contributed to the firm’s blog. Lahdan also worked at a boutique corporate and securities law firm in San Diego, CA, and served as Of Counsel to a specialty law firm with a national practice focused on securities and business law, financial services law, and business and securities litigation and arbitration.

Lahdan has experience handling all aspects of SEC informal inquiries, formal investigations and enforcement actions including administrative proceedings and district court actions. Lahdan understands entrepreneurs and works proactively to find solutions to enable clients to achieve their goals. Lahdan handles all types of public and private offerings of securities, including equity crowdfunding pursuant to Regulation CF, Regulation A, Rule 506(c) and other Regulation D private placements.

Prior to starting her career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Lahdan was an Honors Intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance, Office of Information Technology and Services in Washington, DC, and also interned at Morgan Lewis, Beijing, China, E2open, Inc., Foster City, CA, and Elo Touch Solutions, Inc., Milpitas, CA.

Lahdan is a member of the American Bar Association and an active member in the Section of International Law. Lahdan co-presented at the ABA Section of International Law 2019 Annual Conference in Washington DC on “U.S. Legal Issues related to the Regulation of Crypto Offerings, Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence.” Lahdan is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Iranian American Bar Association.
