Patrick is an accomplished Civil Trial Attorney. With over a decade of litigation experience, including a tenure at a leading global insurer, Patrick is a skilled and versatile litigator with a strong track record of developing effective litigation strategies and negotiating favorable settlements. He vigorously defends clients in both New York and Connecticut state courts and has tried over 50 jury trials, both civil and criminal. Notably, Patrick has experience representing Construction Companies, The New York City Police Department and The New York City Housing Authority in a variety of matters including general liability issues, discrimination claims and reasonable accommodation matters.

Additionally, Patrick also devotes a large portion of his practice to privacy and data security helping clients reduce cyber risk exposures and defending them through all stages of data breach response, including investigations, compliance with data breach notification laws and regulatory investigations. He also advises clients on legal compliance with state, federal, and international privacy and data security laws.

Prior to entering civil practice, Patrick spent seven years at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office Major Crime Bureau. In this role, he represented Queens County in the prosecution of the most serious and high-profile cases and managed a caseload of up to approximately 250 felony cases. He also presented actionable cases to the Queens Grand Jury, conducted direct examinations of police officers, eyewitnesses, and victims, cross-examined defendants and defense witnesses and drafted pretrial motions and conducted pretrial hearings. Notably, Patrick was a recipient of the FBI Annual Director’s Awards for Excellence in the prosecution of a Cold Case Homicide.
