Patrick J. Egan is a Partner in Lucosky Brookman LLP’s Corporate and Securities Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of capital markets, securities, corporate finance and corporate law. Mr. Egan represents issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in a broad range of public and private securities transactions.
Mr. Egan has also served as outside general counsel for several public companies, providing comprehensive guidance on disclosure obligations, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. He has represented exchange-listed companies across diverse industries, helping them navigate complex corporate and securities law issues.
He began his career as a corporate, capital markets and securities attorney in the New York office of a premier global law firm that consistently ranks in the top 10 of The American Lawyer’s AM Law 100 list of U.S. law firms. Mr. Egan continued his legal career as in-house counsel at a leading global financial services firm headquartered in New York, where he advised on matters related to investment banking, capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, secured financing transactions, and other general corporate and securities matters.
Prior to joining Lucosky Brookman LLP, Mr. Egan served as a Partner at a leading corporate and securities boutique law firm and a leading AM Law 100 law firm, where he focused on capital markets transactions, securities regulation, public company compliance, and venture capital financing.
Mr. Egan earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, and served as a member of the St. John’s Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where he graduated cum laude, and served as a member of the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program.
