Prior to joining Lucosky Brookman in May 2024, Mr. Zimmerman was the principal of his own boutique law firm formed in 1992 that provided transactional and litigation services to a diverse group of entrepreneurial clients including start-ups and small public companies.

He has extensive experience aggressively litigating cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts across the country, including patent cases involving computer software applications asserted against Big Banks and Big Tech Companies, as well as other types of complex commercial cases.

He has been lead-trial attorney in hundreds of cases implementing litigation programs that have secured millions of dollars in awards and settlements. In addition, he has drafted and negotiated hundreds of contracts, and prepared and filed dozens of applications to protect intellectual property rights.

Mr. Zimmerman strives to provide common sense and cost-effective solutions to his clients’ legal needs to help them grow their business and maximize revenues.
