Jeffrey Goldstein is Counsel to Lucosky Brookman LLP and head of the Firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Goldstein represents investors, lenders, high net worth individuals, closely held corporations, publicly traded corporations, REITS, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and established financial institutions in all aspects of real estate transactions. Mr. Goldstein routinely drafts and negotiates a wide variety of real estate-related documents including, purchase and sale agreements, term sheets, mortgages, loan agreements, ancillary loan and closing documents, attorney opinion letters, joint venture agreements, commercial leases, amendments and modifications and tenant estoppel certificates. Additionally, Mr. Goldstein represents landlords and tenants in negotiating office leases, warehouse leases, and restaurant leases, among other forms of leases. In the corporate realm, Mr. Goldstein regularly represents investors in performing real estate-related due diligence in connection with complex mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Goldstein joined Lucosky Brookman after years of private practice and following practicing at Schulte, Roth and Zabel LLP wherein he represented Fortune 500 companies in their real estate concerns. Mr. Goldstein received his Juris Doctor from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva College at Yeshiva University. Mr. Goldstein is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York as well as the Federal Bar in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, Mr. Goldstein is a member of the Board of Directors of The American Friends of Yeshivot B’nei Akiva, where he raises funds for needy schools and students in Israel.
